In the beginning…

I have always wanted to start my own catering and events company. After many years of talk, and to be frank, my friends and family were sick of hearing about it, so I finally decided to do something about it while I had a bit of time on my hands after we moved from Australia to Geneva. So this is “An Affair to Remember”, this blog is more to do with what crosses my path in the way of cooking, ingredients and what is going on in our vicinity in food and wine than anything to do with the company, but I hope you will enjoy it regardless. Oh, it will also most likely be a good spot for whinge as well. You can’t have everything, or in Swiss terms “Madame, c’est pas possible”.
